Making your very own homemade peanut butter is great because you know exactly what is going in it, you can adjust the levels of sweetness to your own liking, and it's super easy! You can experiment and use different nuts, I have also made the same recipe with cashew nuts and it was fab.

Ingredients

Makes a small amount of about ½ cup’s worth

  • Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup / 125g roasted and lightly salted peanuts

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp peanut oil

 

  • Equipment:

  • 1 x food processor

Instructions

  1. Just add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth!

  2. Done!

Notes

The peanut butter can be kept in an airtight container for up to a month in the fridge.  You can use unsalted peanuts if you prefer, or add less or more sugar? Totally up to your taste buds
