This recipe was inspired by my recent trip to Dublin, where of course I had to have a pint of Guinness! It’s a ridiculously easy recipe to whip up when the sun comes out, followed by the BBQ’s…
Ingredients
- 300ml Guinness
- 12 fresh pork spare ribs
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 inch fresh ginger finely sliced
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a pan, bring to the boil, turn down heat and reduce
- Until half the liquid has evaporated and the sauce is thicker and more concentrated
- Once the marinade has cooled down, pour it over the ribs
- Leave to marinade for minimum 2 hours but preferably overnight
- All you need to do next is cook them on your BBQ
- or you could even just pop them into a hot oven
- Make sure you baste them in the left over sauce as they are cooking as this will add to the flavour and make a glaze for the ribs
