This recipe was inspired by my recent trip to Dublin, where of course I had to have a pint of Guinness! It’s a ridiculously easy recipe to whip up when the sun comes out, followed by the BBQ’s…
Ingredients
  • 300ml Guinness
  • 12 fresh pork spare ribs
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 inch fresh ginger finely sliced
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients into a pan, bring to the boil, turn down heat and reduce
  2. Until half the liquid has evaporated and the sauce is thicker and more concentrated
  3. Once the marinade has cooled down, pour it over the ribs
  4. Leave to marinade for minimum 2 hours but preferably overnight
  5. All you need to do next is cook them on your BBQ
  6. or you could even just pop them into a hot oven
  7. Make sure you baste them in the left over sauce as they are cooking as this will add to the flavour and make a glaze for the ribs
