Ingredients
- Base
- 200g digestive biscuits / or graham crackers
- 100g butter
- Filling
- 100g caster sugar
- 500g cream cheese
- 200g melted dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp hot water
Instructions
- Make the base
- Crush the digestives so they become fine crumbs
- Mix with the melted butter and push into the bottom of a 9inch spring form tin
- Leave in fridge to cool
- To make the filling
- Simply add the cream cheese, cooled melted chocolate, sugar and beat well
- Mix the cocoa powder with the hot water until you get a smooth paste
- Add to the cream cheese mixture, blend everything in together and spread over the biscuit base
- Leave to chill overnight, or for 4 hours
Notes
This is a rich cheesecake so it is good to serve this with raspberries or strawberries. It is so quick and easy you can whip this up for your special friend in no time.
