A Batida is a Brazilian drink made on the hot and steamy beaches of South America. A friend first introduced me to this creamy, coconutty delight at a dinner party and since then, I’ve been hooked. It’s simple, uncomplicated and dangerously good. Cachaça is the most popular spirit in Brazil, distilled from sugar cane and most commonly known as used in the Caipirinha cocktail.
Ingredients
120ml (4fl oz) coconut milk
60ml (2fl oz) cachaça
ice cubes
2 tbsp condensed milk
Instructions
Easy really! Simply whiz everything together in a blender
Pour and serve
Enjoy
Notes
TIP: You can garnish it with toasted coconut flakes if you want to make it look a bit fancy . . .
